About the Role We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dynamic Territory Manager to join our amazing team in Niagara. Reporting to the Director of Sales, your primary role will be to act as an ambassador for our portfolio of brands that includes beer, wine, cider, RTD and non-alcoholic beverages. With a dual focus on on-premise as well as retail channels, you will strengthen existing relationships and build new business across your territory within the Niagara area. What You'll Do Effectively set and track daily, weekly, and monthly goals in order to deliver on quarterly sales targets set by leadership. Plan and execute efficient daily route plans for sales calls. Develop new business for all brands by increasing distribution and sales volume across channels within the geographic territory. Leverage our data (Last Call and internal ERP) in building fact-based selling strategies. Leverage marketing and trade tools to increase visibility and advocacy of our portfolio of brands with accounts. Collaborate with Inside Sales team and Operations to ensure timely delivery of products and successful execution of consumer activations. Work to build and strengthen relationships with restaurants and bars in Niagara region. What You Bring Must have full access to a reliable vehicle and maintain a valid driver’s license. A track record of success in a similar territory sales role is highly preferred, specifically in CPG sales, licensee or bar experience. Post-secondary education (University or College) is preferred. Strong product knowledge with an understanding and passion for Ontario craft beverage alcohol industry. Experience and contacts within the designated territory considered an asset. Proven experience or certification in sales and negotiation. Must hold (or be willing to obtain) a valid Smart Serve. Proven ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team. Solid understanding of MS Office suite of programs, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work occasional flexible hours to accommodate for client availability. Must be able to occasionally lift up to 60 pounds. Hiring Range The anticipated hiring range for this role is an annual salary of $40K with OTE potential of $80k including the variable incentive plan. Car allowance, phone allowance and gas card are also provided. About Bench Brewing Located in the heart of Niagara's wine country, the Bench Brewing is located on the site of the historic Maple Grove Public School in Lincoln, Ontario. Our brewery is a place for our guests to relax, learn, and experience our amazing craft beverages. The Bench Brewing Campus sits across eight beautiful acres of farmland and features our popular tap and tasting room, beer garden, our very own hops yard and Fieldstone at Bench event centre.
