Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) We have the perfect position for you! We are currently looking for an Industrial Mechanic in our Hadashville facility. This role plays a critical part in maintaining daily production targets within a fast-paced industrial environment in our Oakbank peat moss plant. Leveraging your technical expertise, you will troubleshoot and complete equipment repairs, perform preventative maintenance, and help ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations. JOB SUMMARY: Assist with the fabrication, installation, and adjustment of production equipment. Perform maintenance activities in accordance with the preventive maintenance program. Diagnose equipment issues and complete required repairs in a timely manner. Communicate potential risks, equipment concerns, and repair requirements to the supervisor. Adjust, replace, clean, and maintain equipment as required. Conduct minor welding, electrical, and carpentry repairs to support operational needs. Read and interpret technical blueprints, and schematics to install and maintain mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. QUALIFICATIONS: Professional certification (Journeyperson, Red Seal, or Advanced Apprentice). Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS/DEP) in Electromechanics Automation or a related field. Equivalent skills and working experience may be considered. Experience and knowledge of industrial mechanical systems and equipment maintenance. Experience working with industrial electronics, controls, and automation systems. Self-motivated, resourceful, and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently. Strong teamwork skills and the physical ability to perform the demands of the role. Availability to work during the day, evening and night shifts as scheduled. Willingness to travel to other Berger locations throughout Manitoba as required.
