Workforce Management Specialist - Workforce Strategy & Optimization Are you forward-thinking and always looking to establish better systems and processes? As a workforce management specialist, you will be responsible for providing specialized expertise in scheduling, reporting, tool optimization and business analysis to support the company’s labour management strategy. With data modeling techniques, you’ll help ‘paint a picture’ for leadership to better manage staffing and optimize processes across different areas of the store to set them up for success. We practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions at our head office, in beautiful Vancouver, BC, for strategic, collaborative and social purposes. What you’ll do: Act as a subject matter expert around labour & scheduling processes Support the department's inbox - identify, troubleshoot, and fix quality / discrepancy issues and gaps by monitoring existing dashboards Support ongoing delivery of projects that require time and motion study analysis, standard operational procedure changes and development Collaborate with senior team members to develop reports and tools for store and individual performance management, labour capacity, utilization, productivity, and related KPIs Continuously evolve the planning processes by keeping up to date with industry standards, trends, and analytics tools Support day to day workforce operations and strategy functions as required What we’re looking for: 3-5 year’s experience in Retail and Store Operations 1-3 year’s experience in workforce management and scheduling practices 1-3 year’s experience in Reporting and Analytics Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, PowerApps, and PowerAutomate experience Intermediate experience with SQL, Python, Machine Learning Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Engineering Why you’ll love it here: Remote-first work environment Employee discounts on awesome tech from day one Flexible health benefits and wellness program TFSA and RRSP programs 100% matched company pension plan Training programs to build new and transferable skills About Best Buy As Canada's destination for the coolest tech, Best Buy offers one of the best work environments in the country!
