Job Duties & Responsibilities: • Direct, control, and evaluate the operations of the Engineering Research and Development (R&D) department and technical teams. • Lead strategic engineering research initiatives focused on advanced thermal control systems, high-efficiency power electronics, and transient heat transfer algorithms. • Oversee multi-phase development timelines, testing protocols (lab and field), and client engineering integrations across vehicle platforms and industrial aerospace markets. • Develop and manage the department’s technical project resources and operational research schedules. • Provide technical support to all activities related to product development and prototyping including electrical design, thermal system modeling and control, firmware development, and testing. • Recruit, mentor, and supervise highly technical engineering personnel, software developers, and control systems specialists. • Develop and implement engineering policies for requirements, design, build, test, safety, and quality for electronic hardware components, assemblies, and controllers. • Represent the R&D division in high-level technical consultations with international customers, suppliers, and contract manufacturers. Employment Requirements (Skills & Education): • Education: A Doctoral degree (PhD) in Electrical Engineering, or a highly related engineering discipline with a dedicated research focus on advanced systems modeling and control, thermal systems, heat transfer and fluid mechanics, or advanced power electronics is required. • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience within engineering research and development environments, including a proven track record of supervising technical engineering teams or leading complex hardware/software system deployments. • Technical Competency: o Designing power electronics converters, building thermal simulation workflows, and deploying control algorithms for industrial or automotive hardware applications. o Direct experience in electrical and thermal systems linear / nonlinear modeling and control. o Strong background on electric vehicles architectures and power train. o Background on automotive and aerospace standards and requirements with focus on technical safety analysis . o Background on programming using C/C++ or Python. • Language: Professional spoken and written English proficiency is required.

Requirements
