Business Intelligence Architect

Title: Intermediate Application / Software Architect (Business Intelligence) Duration: 2 years Location: Ottawa, onsite Domain: Federal Government Services Salary: $90 to $95/hr per hour (based on experience) MUST have an active and valid SECRET level security clearance. Overview: The Application/Software Architect(Business Intelligence) will focus on the design and integration of applications that support analytical and decision-support capabilities. The role involves developing technical architectures, evaluating and selecting software platforms, defining system interfaces, integrating multiple data sources and applications, and ensuring solutions align with business, security, and operational requirements. The architect will work across the SAST environment to improve business intelligence capabilities and support the creation of new analytical solutions used by Defence leadership. This position will also contribute to process and data analysis, workflow development, application design reviews, technology assessments, and the implementation of new BI and data discovery capabilities. Working directly with stakeholders and program teams, the architect will help transform business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable technical solutions while producing technical documentation, system proposals, architecture artifacts, and training materials.
