Job Title: Senior Data Analytics Specialist Employment Type: Contract Duration: August 2027 Location: Canada (Remote) This is for our client based in Alberta Must Have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline (or equivalent experience). 6+ years of experience with Python, R, SQL, or other statistical programming languages. 6+ years building analytical, predictive, and quantitative models. Strong experience preparing data for predictive and prescriptive analytics. Experience applying statistical modelling, data mining, and advanced analytics techniques. 6+ years of experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) in analytics or data science. Strong ability to translate complex business problems into analytical solutions. Experience with Azure, Snowflake, Spark, or Hadoop. Experience developing end-to-end analytics or AI-enabled applications. Knowledge of data governance, metadata, data quality, de-identification, and synthetic data. Experience designing data pipelines and analytics workflows. Experience building dashboards and data visualizations. Experience working with large government or public-sector datasets. What you’ll do

Requirements
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and at least 6 years of experience in data analytics and programming languages. Strong experience with AI, ML, and data governance is also required.
