Job Title: Senior Data Scientist – Generative AI & Machine Learning Employment Type: Contract Duration: 12 Months Location: Toronto Ideal Rate: $80- $85 (Based on Experience) Work Arrangement: Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week, including Thursday Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience developing and implementing data science solutions. Strong hands-on Python programming skills for machine learning and GenAI applications. Strong knowledge of supervised and unsupervised machine learning, model training, evaluation, and optimization. Experience writing complex SQL and PySpark queries. Experience with data transformation, manipulation, and structured and unstructured datasets. Understanding of APIs, microservices, and cloud-native application development. Hands-on experience developing GenAI applications using LLM APIs and frameworks. Experience building AI bots or agents with reasoning, tool-use, and integration capabilities. Practical experience with RAG, prompt engineering, vector databases, and embedding models. Knowledge of fine-tuning methodologies and conversational AI or chatbot development. Nice to Have Experience with AWS AI/ML services, including SageMaker, Lambda, and Bedrock. Familiarity with AWS Glue, Glue Catalog, Glue Data Quality, and Step Functions. Experience with data warehousing, ETL pipelines, and big data technologies. Note: AI-enabled tools may be used to sort applications based on job-related criteria. All AI generated results are vetted by our team and the decision of which candidates move forward is always made by a human.

Requirements
