Senior Project Manager Position Overview The Senior Project Manager is responsible for the overall management and administration of client projects throughout the entire project lifecycle. The Senior Project Manager is at the core of the team and helps everyone to communicate clearly while staying on time, on budget, and meets the highest of quality standards. This individual must demonstrate solid business judgment and sound strategic thinking. This role reports to the Director of Project Management. Responsibilities: Understands the scope of work across an assigned account, as well as the project plan at an individual project level Facilitates interdepartmental negotiation process to reach alignment on project resources and timelines Aligns with Department Resource Managers to assign resources and ensure effective time management throughout a project life cycle Continually monitors projects to ensure deliverables are on schedule and within scope Collaborates with Account team to obtain client sign-off on project plans when needed Prepares for all legal and regulatory submissions Works closely with department leads on forecasting and future resource planning on assigned accounts Builds partnerships and is persuasive/diplomatic in difficult situations Ensures client requests are captured, executed, and exceed expectation Partners with project stakeholders to ensure quality assurance standards and best practices are in place Responsible for raising and maintaining awareness of all project issues and risks, and works with appropriate stakeholders to develop solutions Expert in managing a high volume of work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment Acts as an internal hub of project information for assigned accounts Maintains a proficient level of brand(s) knowledge Qualifications Proven track record of success in a fast-paced environment with the ability to quickly learn new technology 4+ years of project management experience, in pharmaceutical advertising or medical education Expertise of project management techniques with a proven experience in people management, strategic planning, risk mitigation, hours and reporting Ability to lead and manage multiple projects and project coordinators Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to “think on your feet” and resolve issues quickly with little to no direction from supervisors; makes good judgments and renders solid decisions Experience with the pharmaceutical business medical-legal regulations process preferred Familiarity and proficiency with the principles of emotional intelligence Excellent administrative and computer skills, with proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of basic project management software Salary Range: $90,000 - $130,000 CAD What We Offer At BGBx, we invest in our people because exceptional talent drives exceptional work.
