About The Role Job Overview: As a Reconciliation Analyst, you will be responsible for developing and managing reconciliation processes within our platform for various clients. You will work closely with clients to understand their financial workflows and customize reconciliation solutions that fit their unique needs. Your role involves analyzing data, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring that reconciliation processes are accurate and efficient, enabling clients to maintain seamless financial operations. Key Responsibilities Client Engagement: Work with clients to gather requirements and understand their financial workflows and reconciliation needs. Process Design: Create and implement reconciliation processes within our platform, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in handling client data. Data Analysis: Analyze financial data from various sources (bank statements, ledgers, vendor accounts) and identify discrepancies, errors, or inconsistencies. Issue Resolution: Investigate discrepancies, propose corrective actions, and ensure timely resolution of reconciliation issues. Customization: Configure the reconciliation platform to meet the specific requirements of clients, customizing workflows and reporting to suit different industries and business models. Training and Support: Provide training and ongoing support to clients to ensure they can effectively use the reconciliation platform and understand the outcomes. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of reconciliation processes, issues encountered, and solutions implemented for both internal and client-facing purposes. Continuous Improvement: Continuously monitor reconciliation processes to identify areas for improvement and automation to enhance efficiency. Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams (tech, product, and support) to ensure successful client onboarding and reconciliation process implementation. Requirements Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in a reconciliation or financial analyst role, preferably with exposure to reconciliation platforms or fintech solutions. Strong knowledge of reconciliation processes (e.g., bank, vendor, account reconciliation). Proficiency with financial data analysis and Excel; experience with ERP systems or accounting software is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail with the ability to spot inconsistencies in large data sets. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple client relationships and projects simultaneously. Great communication skills to explain technical processes and outcomes to clients in a clear and professional manner. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment, while also collaborating with cross-functional teams. Familiarity with accounting principles and financial reporting. Bonus Skills Experience working with reconciliation automation tools or fintech platforms. Knowledge of SQL or other data query languages. Industry experience in sectors such as banking, construction, or healthcare.
