BSP Bicycle Sports Pacific – Langley, BC Pay: $22.00–$24.00 per hour Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dependable Service Technician / Bicycle Mechanic to join our technical team at Bicycle Sports Pacific Langley. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining customer bikes, as well as assembling new bikes to ensure optimal performance. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and proficiency with hand tools. The Service Technician will play a key role in supporting riders, minimizing downtime, and maintaining the overall efficiency of our service operations. Responsibilities Diagnose mechanical issues on customer bikes and in-house processing bikes. Perform repairs, replacements, and routine maintenance on bicycles. Conduct diagnostic assessments to identify potential problems and provide customers with clear findings and suggestions. Use hand tools safely and effectively to complete service tasks. Maintain accurate records of service activities and repairs performed. Collaborate with team members to prioritize work orders and ensure timely completion of tasks. Follow safety protocols and industry standards during all service activities. Support new bike builds and ensure bikes are prepared to a professional retail standard. Requirements Proven experience as a bicycle mechanic or in a similar technical role. Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on repair ability. Proficiency with hand tools required for repair and maintenance tasks. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently and accurately. Knowledge of safety procedures related to bike repair and maintenance. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Relevant certifications or technical training in bicycle mechanics is preferred, but not mandatory.
