Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver is a registered charity and community-based organization. We offer friendship-based mentoring programs for children and youth across Greater Vancouver and provide volunteer opportunities for all genders. We currently serve the following areas: Vancouver, Burnaby, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Richmond, Delta, New Westminster, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Surrey, White Rock, and Tsawwassen.

Group Mentors lead fun activity-based play sessions to help youth make informed decisions about healthy lifestyle practices. They engage in discussions that encourage healthy lifelong habits among boys, trans, and gender diverse children and youth in grades 4 to 7.
Hybrid · Vancouver
Mentors will meet with children and youth once a week for 90-minute sessions to work on numeracy, activities, and games. The program aims to strengthen the impact of tutoring by incorporating mentorship.

Mentors are paired with elementary school students to engage in non-academic activities for one hour each week. The goal is to provide support and build confidence in the students.

Volunteers will be paired with a Little Buddy to build a supportive one-to-one relationship. Matches will spend two or more hours weekly engaging in activities they enjoy.
