As part of the Big White Housekeeping team, you are responsible for the daily coordination of rooms to be cleaned by the housekeeping team. You will be inspecting rooms and common areas to make sure they meet the core standard of cleaning. This position requires strong multi-tasking and organizational skills. Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to: * Inspect and maintain guest units while keeping up with core standards * Supervise housekeeping staff and laundry staff while they are performing their duties * Conduct daily morning meetings with housekeeping staff and daily organization of staff * Help with training of all housekeeping and laundry staff * Stocking and organizing storage rooms * Assist in cleaning of rooms * Understand how everything operates in guest room (fireplace, windows, etc.) * Fulfilling tasks in a time sensitive manner * Follow all Health & Safety protocols and procedures * Assist guests with all questions and requests * All other duties as required The vision for Big White: “To be the perfect four-season mountain resort, distinguished for the high-quality experience our guest always receive.” Big White Mission Statement: “To go the extra mile to ensure our guest enjoy a memorable alpine experience in a positive, safe and friendly environment” Our Mission Statement: “To create a positive atmosphere that benefits both our team members and guests. No formal education or experience is required as on-the-job training is provided. Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada and possess strong leadership and guest service skills.
