For more information visit www.binsentry.com. The Role BinSentry is seeking a Data Steward to help drive our ERP implementation forward and own the integrity of our data through migration. This is a hands-on role combining data stewardship with project coordination — you'll keep the implementation on track while making sure the master and financial data we bring into NetSuite is clean, accurate, and trustworthy from day one. Key Responsibilities Data stewardship & migration : Analyze, cleanse, validate, and reconcile master data (customers, vendors, items, chart of accounts) and financial data ahead of migration into NetSuite. Data quality processes : Design and document repeatable processes and standards to create and maintain high-quality data post go-live, including data governance, validation rules, and ownership Validation & reconciliation : Verify migrated data against source systems; identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies; and support user acceptance testing. What Success Looks Like Successfully support trial data loads into the sandbox environment, identifying and resolving validation errors quickly. Partner with Finance stakeholders during UAT to ensure trial trial balances, AR/AP subledgers, and item catalogs tie back to the exact penny. Support the execution of the final migration of master and opening balances with 100% data reconciliation. Zero business disruption caused by bad data post go-live (e.g., no delayed customer invoicing, misallocated inventory, or broken GL accounts). Deliver documented Data Governance SOPs so the team can maintain high data quality long-term. Qualifications Required Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Data Analytics, Accounting or Finance. 3+ years of progressive work experience - including ERP implementations, ideally as a data lead, data steward, or migration analyst. Strong data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation skills; comfort working with large datasets (Excel, CSV, SQL a plus). Solid understanding of master data and financial/accounting data (GL, AP, AR, chart of accounts). Experience defining data governance / data quality processes. Excellent communication and documentation skills; able to work independently in a contract capacity. Organized, detail-oriented, and able to keep multiple workstreams and stakeholders aligned.
