BCS INC. is looking for a motivated Passivation Technician to join our growing team and build a hands-on career in specialized chemical treatment and cleaning services. This is a hands-on field position working with industrial and process equipment, piping systems, pumps, tanks, valves, hoses, fittings, chemicals, and testing equipment. Our technicians work directly at customer facilities across industries such as Biopharmaceutical, Nuclear Power, Food & Beverage, Aerospace, Healthcare, and Manufacturing. The successful candidate will start as a Service Technician and complete a 3-month structured training program covering Passivation, Derouging, Biofilm Mitigation, Ultrasonic Cleaning, Electropolishing, and more. Following training, there are opportunities to grow into Quality Assurance, Project Management, Technical Service, or Manufacturing roles. What You’ll Do Set up and operate pumps, hoses, tubing, valves, filters, and other process equipment Perform chemical treatment, cleaning, passivation, and surface treatment of stainless steel systems Connect and disconnect hoses, tubing, fittings, and temporary piping systems Monitor flow, temperature, conductivity, and other process parameters Perform flushing, rinsing, sampling, and visual inspections Read P&IDs, drawings, and written procedures Use hand tools and basic mechanical equipment for equipment setup and troubleshooting Load, unload, clean, and maintain company equipment Complete job documentation, photos, and reports using a mobile device Follow strict safety, quality, and customer requirements Work as part of a small, skilled team at customer facilities Travel throughout the GTA, with potential for travel throughout Ontario and Canada What We’re Looking For Mechanically inclined and comfortable with hands-on work Previous mechanical, industrial, construction, maintenance, plumbing, HVAC, millwright, welding, or similar experience is an asset Comfortable using hand tools and working around industrial equipment Able to read and follow drawings, P&IDs, and written procedures Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable Comfortable working with industrial chemicals and wearing required PPE Comfortable using a smartphone for documentation and email Willingness to learn and work in different industrial environments Nice to Have: Working at Heights Confined Space WHMIS or other industrial safety training Experience with quality systems Experience in regulated or clean environments Bilingual (English/French) Why BCS INC. Requirements
