QA/QC Coordinator The QA/QC Coordinator is accountable for supporting the implementation and administration of the Quality Assurance Program to ensure services provided comply with the specified requirements. This position will be field based and located in North York, Ontario. What You Will Be Working On Partner with employees and subcontractors concerning quality functions and daily inspections. Coordinate with the client on project specific activities, including inspections and review of documentation. Support the maintenance of material and installation traceability requirements throughout the project lifecycle. Responsible for documentation review, analysis, and maintenance including various reports, logs, turnover documentation. Support the implementation of CAR, NCR required from audit findings, in collaboration with the Quality Leader. Support the Quality Leader in the development and implementation of the Project Quality Plan. Assist in the development and maintenance of project-specific quality plans and procedures Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs). Conducting daily site inspections of installed work to verify compliance with project requirements, specifications, and applicable codes Review and approve quality documentation from subcontractors. Create and maintain punch list, deficiencies and walkdown packages. Other duties as assigned to meet business needs. What We Are Looking For Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering, or related discipline 3+ years experience of quality assurance/ quality control experience within construction related environments. Experience with ISO 9001 Strong understanding of client specifications, applicable codes, and regulatory requirements, and their implementation in the field. Working knowledge of applicable building codes, regulatory requirements, and industry standards. The QA/QC Coordinator supports the implementation of the Quality Assurance Program by conducting daily site inspections and ensuring compliance with project requirements. They are responsible for managing quality documentation, coordinating with subcontractors, and maintaining project-specific quality plans.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering or a related discipline. A minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control within the construction industry is required.
