Job summary

QA/QC Manager Reporting to the Quality Director, the QA/QC Manager is responsible for implementing, maintaining, and ensuring the effective operation of the Project Quality Program, and will also perform site inspections to ensure that activities comply with the project specifications This position will be site based in the Lower Mainland and Vancouver Island, however as a project-based organization, work assignments are driven by business and project needs. The successful candidate must be willing and able to travel, work remotely from their home office, or temporarily relocate to project sites as required to support project pursuits and successful project delivery. Assignments may be located within or outside of the employee's home region, and travel frequency and duration will vary depending on operational and project requirements. What You Will Be Working On Work collaboratively with the project team and trade partners in the implementation of the Project Quality Plan. Schedule testing and inspection services in coordination with the field personnel and trade partners Perform regular inspections as the work progresses, including hold points Ensuring all relevant quality records (QC checklist, material cert’s, inspection reports, test reports, internal audit reports, etc.) are obtained, completed, reviewed, and submitted to the Client as required by the Specifications Inspect field conditions and identify risks and cost saving opportunities. Ensure compliance to Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and maintain the supporting documentation. Review and approve quality documentation from subcontractors and suppliers. Provide weekly and monthly summary reports on testing and inspection results Report non-conformances and deficiencies and assist in their resolution, including documentation and verification, as requested Other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
