General Labourer - Maintenance

What We Offer: Competitive salary - $26.91 per hour Comprehensive benefits package (Medical/Dental, etc.) from start date Company RRSP from start date Employer sponsored Education Assistance, Annual Gym Membership and Employee Referral Program Responsibilities: Work in an outdoor environment providing general labour duties Conducting work in bag collectors Landscaping, salting, and snow removal on company grounds Cleaning (garbage, debris other waste) and painting in various areas of the plant Clean up of spills on the plant grounds (carbon black, oil etc.) Assisting the maintenance team with various jobs around the plant Required Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent with apprenticeship/trade school preferred Experience in a similar role in a manufacturing facility is considered an asset Mechanical aptitude is considered and asset for this role Highly flexible, proactive and self-motivated Commitment to safety and the environment Work Conditions/Schedule Ability to regularly lift up to 50lbs and work in an outdoor environment This position is a straight day shift working Monday-Friday, 8 hour days. Effective written and oral communication skills Overtime as required

The general labourer will perform outdoor maintenance duties including landscaping, snow removal, and cleaning plant grounds. They will also assist the maintenance team with various tasks and manage spill cleanups.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, with trade school or apprenticeship experience preferred. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50lbs and maintain a flexible, safety-conscious approach.
