As the Pricing Analyst - LTL, you are a self-driven team player who has an innate curiosity of the financial aspects of business success. You will work alongside the Supervisor, LTL Pricing; in the execution of RFPs and customer rate management. We are looking for individuals with pricing experience and specific LTL experience is seen as an asset. Specific Responsibilities include: Responsible for establishing rates on customer RFP and rate related requests. Collaborating and engaging with our Sales and Operations team to set and develop pricing strategies. Contributing to small pricing requests from current, potential customers and execution of spot rates. Evaluation of specific customer rates in the effort of maintaining effective tariffs and contracts given changing market conditions Auditing of multiple facets of our rates and execution to maintain confidence in our customer rate structure. Responsible for onboarding new accounts to ensure we have clear understanding internally and with our clients of the application of our rates. Adhoc projects and business development with direction from the Team Lead of LTL Pricing, various specific projects may require the participation and actions from the LTL Pricing Analyst. Our Ideal Candidate will possess: Bachelor’s degree or college diploma with a focus on any combination of Economics, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Finance. Other formal education will be considered for relevance. 1-3 years work experience with financial analysis, pricing models, and/or cost modeling. Experience in transportation would be considered an asset. Excellent objective, analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong Excel skills and proficient usage of other Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Collaborative and team focused Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality. Requirements
Candidates should possess a degree in Economics, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Finance along with 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis or pricing. Strong proficiency in Excel and excellent analytical and communication skills are required for this role.
