We are seeking a C# Software Developer to design and build solutions that streamline department processes, applications, and system workflows. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business and system requirements into scalable, high-quality software solutions using modern Microsoft and cloud technologies. This position is ideal for someone who is systems-oriented, enjoys learning new tools and technologies, and can work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain applications and system workflows using C#, ASP.NET Core, SQL, and Python Build and enhance web applications using ASP.NET Core Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and refine business and system requirements Develop solutions to automate and streamline internal processes and integrations Work with Azure services, including Azure DevOps and Application Insights, to support development, monitoring, and deployment Design and work with Cosmos DB (NoSQL) data models and environments Participate in code reviews, testing, and quality assurance to ensure high standards Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing across the team Required Skills & Experience Strong experience with C# and .NET / ASP.NET Core, and using dependency injection. Proficiency with SQL and relational database concepts Experience working in Azure cloud environments Familiarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines and source control Knowledge of Cosmos DB or NoSQL database environments Solid understanding of system design and application workflows Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills BIG is a high growth Cloud Consulting firm with offices in Edmonton, Calgary, Toronto, Denver, India and the United Kingdom.
