Contract: August 31, 2026 – August 30, 2027 Industry: Healthcare / Public Sector About the Role We are seeking a Senior Systems Testing / QA Specialist with strong experience testing large-scale enterprise applications, distributed systems, APIs, integrations, databases, and end-to-end workflows. The successful candidate will design and execute both manual and automated testing for a large-scale healthcare technology program, with a strong focus on UI automation, API testing, data validation, and healthcare interoperability. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, test cases, test scripts, and automation suites. Design, build, implement, and maintain scalable UI automation frameworks using Selenium or Playwright. Perform API and web service testing using REST/SOAP, Postman, REST Assured, ReadyAPI, or similar tools. Validate API payloads, authentication, headers, status codes, XML/JSON messaging, and backend integrations. Perform database validation and data integrity testing using SQL, Oracle, MySQL, or similar technologies. Validate authentication and authorization mechanisms including OAuth, JWT, SAML, and certificates. Analyze and troubleshoot defects, test environments, test data, and integration issues. Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA/TestRail. Develop and execute test cases for healthcare interoperability and HL7 FHIR resources and/or HL7 v2/v3 messages. Validate FHIR profiles, implementation guides, mappings, transformations, and end-to-end data flows. Work closely with QA Leads, Developers, Architects, Business Analysts, Project Managers, and other stakeholders. Participate in Agile/Scrum delivery and support DevOps and CI/CD practices. Must-Have Qualifications 7+ years of enterprise QA/testing experience with large-scale backend applications, distributed systems, APIs, integrations, databases, and end-to-end workflows. Strong hands-on experience building Selenium or Playwright automation frameworks from scratch. Strong programming skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript. Advanced experience with REST/SOAP API testing, Postman, REST Assured, ReadyAPI, or equivalent tools. Strong experience with SQL/database validation and data integrity verification. Experience testing authentication and authorization using OAuth, JWT, SAML, certificates, or similar technologies. Strong functional, integration, and systems testing experience. Experience with JIRA/TestRail and Agile/Scrum environments. Experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or GitLab CI. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Nice to Have Hands-on healthcare domain experience. Experience testing HL7 FHIR, particularly FHIR R4 resources and implementation guides. Experience with HL7 v2/v3 messages and data structures. Experience with FHIR mapping, transformation, interoperability, and healthcare data integration. Experience with Microsoft technologies such as Power BI, Dynamics 365, or SharePoint. Public sector experience. AI-enabled tools may be used to sort applications based on job-related criteria.
