Responsibilities Manage a broad range of litigation files including civil, commercial, corporate, estate, construction, insolvency, mortgage enforcement, and shareholder disputes. Conduct legal research, file reviews, and legal analysis. Draft pleadings, affidavits, legal opinions, and other litigation materials. Represent clients in court. Collaborate closely with colleagues and support junior team members. Requirements 5-8 years of post-call experience. Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario. Comfortable appearing before the courts and managing files with minimal supervision. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Collaborative, adaptable, and comfortable working in a small-team setting. Interest in contributing to the growth of the Ottawa office. English is required; French is an asset. // Notre client Notre client est un cabinet d’avocats international de premier plan. Responsabilités Gérer un large éventail de dossiers en litige, notamment en matière civile, commerciale, corporative, successorale, de construction, d’insolvabilité, de réalisation de sûretés hypothécaires et de litiges entre actionnaires. Effectuer des recherches juridiques, analyser les dossiers et formuler des analyses juridiques. Rédiger des actes de procédure, des affidavits, des avis juridiques et autres documents liés aux litiges. Représenter les clients devant les tribunaux. Collaborer étroitement avec les collègues et soutenir les avocats juniors. Exigences De 5 à 8 ans d’expérience après l’admission au Barreau. Être membre en règle du Barreau de l’Ontario. Être à l’aise de comparaître devant les tribunaux et de gérer des dossiers avec un minimum de supervision. Excellentes aptitudes en communication, tant à l’écrit qu’à l’oral. Esprit collaboratif, capacité d’adaptation et aisance à travailler au sein d’une petite équipe. Intérêt à contribuer au développement du bureau d’Ottawa.
