Our Client Our client is a well-established, full-service defence litigation firm with a strong presence in Western Canada. The firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its Vancouver office, with a primary focus on strata (condominium) law matters. The firm offers a highly collaborative and entrepreneurial culture with strong opportunities for client contact, mentorship, and professional growth. Responsibilities Represent strata corporations, insurers, and property management clients in a variety of disputes and advisory matters Handle litigation matters before the Civil Resolution Tribunal, the Supreme Court of British Columbia, and other courts/tribunals Conduct negotiations, mediations, discoveries, and court appearances Advise clients on governance, bylaw enforcement, compliance, operational issues, and day-to-day strata matters Review bylaws, contracts, resolutions, opinions, and related legal documents Attend council meetings and annual general meetings as required Develop and maintain strong client relationships within the strata and property management industry Support business development and marketing initiatives within the practice group Requirements Member in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia Approximately 2-8 years of post-call experience Experience in civil litigation, real estate litigation, strata law, or related practice areas considered an asset Candidates without extensive strata experience are encouraged to apply if they have a demonstrated interest in developing expertise in this area Strong drafting, advocacy, and client service skills Ability to independently manage files while working collaboratively within a team environment Additional details: Competitive compensation structure, including bonus opportunities Annual billable target of approximately 1,700 hours, including recognized business development/marketing hours Hybrid work arrangement with approximately three in-office days per week REF# LI1688
