English Summary/Objective The Merchandiser Supervisor is responsible for contributing to the success of Bloomstar by providing exceptional customer service to large accounts, such as Costco and managing the regional teams of Merchandisers ensuring achieving sales objectives. This role will be responsible for supervising merchandising activities such as merchandising products, freshness rotation, display set up and maintenance, cooler stocking/rotation, storage room organization and movement of product from storage to the sales floor, customer relationship building etc. Duties and Responsibilities * Responsible for hiring, training, administering and managing a team of regional Merchandisers. * Manages schedule and attendance of Merchandisers ensuring presence of point-of-contact at the stores. * Assists and ensures the visual training and development of all new hires is completed. * Maintains an open line of communication with Regional Merchandising Manager and Merchandisers; effectively communicating, coordinating plans and procedures regarding sales objectives. * Partners effortlessly with internal and external stakeholders ensuring maintaining and building strong relationship to ensure successful sales generation and to achieve performance targets. * Visits the regional stores on daily basis, ensures product deliveries are on time, that the stock is up in the stores and that there are proper conditions to store the product. * Liaises with store managers ensuring stores meet merchandising and maintenance standards. * Communicates store deficiencies i.e. lighting fixtures, visual standards, detailing, displays. Qualifications * Undergraduate degree or post-secondary diploma in business administration, marketing or visual designing with minimum 2 years’ experience in marketing, sales, retail merchandising or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. * Bilingual in French and English. Spanish would be an asset. Experience in flower industry would be an asset. * Dedication to high levels of customer service and sales productivity with exceptional communication skills is a must. Excellent leadership and collaboration skills; proven ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships across diverse groups and levels. * Demonstrated problem-solving skills with an ability to recognize and lead through complex change and transformation. * Excellent management, training, developing and coaching skills with an ability to supervise from remote distance. * Results-oriented and organized, focused on producing high quality work within tight timelines and fast paced work environment. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. * Strong ability to multi-task and effectively manage work requirements with high attention to detail. * Valid drivers’ license is a must. Work Environment * Regular driving to different regional stores required. Salary * Based on experience. Requirements
