SALARY STARTING AT-$60,000 FULL TIME HOURS Must be able to work, days, afternoons and overnight shifts WHAT WILL I BE DOING? The Assistant Manager, Slope Maintenance, will report directly to the Manager, Slope Maintenance and will oversee a team of Groomers, Snowmakers, Welders, and Heavy Equipment Operators. This position is responsible for helping to create a community of employees united by purpose and fun, deliver a mountain experience to guests that inspires stories, and who achieve departmental objectives and key results. This position and their team are responsible for ensuring the best and safest on-hill product is produced and maintained. They will plan, supervise, and coordinate the activities of teams engaged in grooming, snowmaking, and summer construction projects. Leading by example; working alongside team members to ensure the team is supported Manage performance and motivate by setting clear expectations, measuring productivity, coaching, addressing concerns, and recognizing achievements. Creating and maintaining schedules according to budgets and operational demands. Planning and providing standardized on-boarding and training Enforcing safety regulations and coordinating accident procedures Coordinating and overseeing daily shift work and team communications Coordinating maintenance and timely reporting of equipment issues to maximize up time. WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU? 5+ years snowmaking or grooming experience required. Landscape construction experience an asset. Experience managing a medium size (30+ employees) work unit an asset Comfort level working outdoors in extreme weather (heat or cold) Ability to work weekend, day and overnight shifts. Requirements

Requires 5+ years of experience in snowmaking or grooming and the ability to work outdoors in extreme weather. Experience managing a team of 30+ employees and landscape construction experience are considered assets.
