HOURLY RATE - $22.50 + Full-time Hours HEALTH AND DENTAL BENEFITS Average 4-5 shifts per week in peak seasons (summer/winter). Weekends required. Average 3-4 shifts per week in non-peak seasons (spring/fall). Weekends required. On-Site at Blue Mountain Resort WHAT WILL I BE DOING? The Income Auditor is responsible for ensuring transaction balancing between systems and researching and resolving variances. The auditor is also responsible for reviewing reporting to identify transactions not aligned with policy, and is critical in maintaining accuracy in the system and fraud prevention. Completing daily point-of-sale payment reconciliations including research and resolution of variances. When errors are identified, the Auditor will assist in correction process through on-going communication to supervisory staff. Auditing transactions from all resort points of sale: discounts, refunds and products. Confirming POS close locations, statement postings, etc. Providing on-going communication to supervisory staff regarding issues identified. Preparing journal entries where applicable. Responding to guest inquiries where applicable (credit card issues and chargebacks). Participating and support training or inquiries from Operations and/or other audit staff. WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU? Excellent communication skills - verbal and written communication skills to facilitate resolutions to queries and discrepancies. Strong computer skills. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook. Strong analytical thinking, problem solving and multitasking skills. Excellent organizational skills, the ability to keep detailed and neat records and be able to follow detailed operating procedures. Experience with D365, RTP or Sirus POS system an asset. Minimum of 2 years' experience in Accounting an asset. This role is being posted to fill a vacant position. Candidates should possess strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills along with proficiency in MS Office. A minimum of 2 years of accounting experience and familiarity with D365, RTP, or Sirus POS systems are considered assets.
