Job summary
* Safely work with an Operations crew to move railcars during switching, yard movements, and travel to customer facilities or interchanges; * Communicate professionally with customers, crew members, and railway partners to support safe operations; * Represent BWRS through a strong commitment to customer service, teamwork, and operational reliability; * Contribute to a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and accountability in the workplace; * Observe hand and radio signals in the yard in accordance with railroad rules and regulations; * Operate track switches as needed; * Perform procedures required to couple/uncouple rail cars; * Apply hand brakes on rail cars not in active use; and * Ensure proper permissions and authorities are obtained.

Requirements
Requires a high school diploma or GED and previous experience as a Conductor. Candidates must be in good physical condition and possess a valid BC Class 5 driver's license.
