This is a future vacancy within the organization. Key Responsibilities: Provide technical services in a field and office environment. Working on all assignments on projects of low to high complexity Writing reports, proposals and technical specifications Completing analysis of information and report preparation Key Qualifications, Education & Skills: Civil Engineering diploma, preferably with a focus on Environmental and/or Geotechnical Engineering One (1) – two (2) years of related experience in environmental engineering and field investigations (preferably in a consulting environment) is an asset Ability to complete Phase One Environmental Site Assessments, Phase Two Environmental Site Assessments, Soil and Groundwater Remediation and Records of Site Condition Excellent computer skills, proficiency with common industry software is required Strong workplace health and safety practices Flexible, well organized, interested in technical and personal advancement Ability to carry out assignments with minimal supervision Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, strong report-writing skills and verbal communication in English are essential Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to communicate effectively and to proactively respond to time-sensitive issues Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Computer proficiency with common industry software is required. Experience with GIS and CAD software is an asset Ability to follow workplace health and safety practices is essential Must own vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage and hold a valid (G-Level) Ontario Driver's License Must be mobile and willing to work on a combination of field and office work, as travel will be required About DS Consultants Ltd: DS Consultants Ltd.
