Bold Electric is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Journeyperson Electrician ready to take the lead on commercial projects. As our Commercial Site Lead, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day success of your projects—coordinating people and materials, working with clients, managing inspections, monitoring budgets, and ensuring the finished work meets Bold Electric's standards. You'll also lead and develop the people around you, helping build a job site where people work hard, work safely, and work well together. What You'll Be Doing As The On-site Leader For Commercial Electrical Projects, You'll: Lead and coordinate day-to-day electrical work on commercial job sites Read and interpret electrical drawings, plans, specifications and applicable codes Coordinate materials, scheduling and site logistics with the Commercial Supervisor Assign work and help keep the field team productive and projects moving Mentor and train apprentices and journeypersons Coordinate inspections, including fire alarm and special inspections Communicate with utilities, clients, vendors and other project partners Track labour and material budgets and work with the supervisor to review job costs Troubleshoot issues and find practical solutions when things don't go according to plan Maintain Bold Electric's expectations for quality, workmanship and site organization Lead daily safety practices and ensure company and legislative requirements are followed Identify opportunities to make our projects more efficient and profitable What We're Looking For You'll Need To Be a Certified Journeyperson Electrician With The Technical Knowledge And Field Experience To Confidently Lead Commercial Work. Beyond The Ticket, We're Looking For Someone Who: Takes ownership and follows through Can lead a crew without needing to be micromanaged Communicates clearly with clients, coworkers and leadership Knows how to balance quality, schedule and budget Is organized and can keep multiple priorities moving Is comfortable using construction-related apps and digital tools Stays calm and solution-focused when problems come up Takes pride in quality workmanship and a well-run site Enjoys teaching and developing less-experienced electricians Leads by example when it comes to safety, professionalism and work ethic You'll also need a valid driver's licence with a clean abstract, along with valid First Aid and WHMIS certification.
