What are your contributions to the team? Provide support in the integration of the flight control, hydraulic and/or landing gear system for the definition, specification, design, analysis, modification, test and certification of hydro-mechanical systems. Assess the design changes and support integration of the hydro-mechanical systems. Review the supplier documentation in support of design change and provide feedback. Check for quality of the Supplier's tests and analyses. Prepare or review qualification or certification reports. Liaise with stress, loads, reliability, maintainability and safety (RM&S), simulation, customer and operations support departments. Identify issues and obstacles, follow-up and communicate progress of assigned tasks. How to thrive in this role? You are a student in a Canadian university in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with an interest in aerospace. You have good oral and technical writing skills in English (required). You are motivated, self-starter, organized, autonomous and able to work under limited supervision. You are a team player and able to work with suppliers and customers. You are a dynamic person with initiative, a strong sense of responsibility and good judgment. You have good knowledge of MS Office software (essential). You have working knowledge of CATIA, Matlab, Simulink (an asset). Boarding Information: Location: Administrative Centre (CA) Duration: 4 months Flexible workplace-Hybrid It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training/work purpose.

Requirements

Must be a current student in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering at a Canadian university. Requires proficiency in English, MS Office, and ideally experience with CATIA, Matlab, and Simulink.
