What are your contributions to the team? Support the conceptual design of derivative and clean sheet aircraft with regards to aircraft configuration with a focus on structural integration and interiors. Perform structural integration activities at the conceptual design level, such as: Conceptual layouts of primary structural components for evolving aircraft design configurations, including clean sheet ideation, derivatives, and modifications to existing products Cabin layout conceptualization and integration for new aircraft designs based on marketing requirements, utilizing good awareness of human factors and certification constraints Assist in the development of marketing requirements Systems installations within the structural models, with the direct application of lessons learned. Examples include: Landing Gear integration, Engine integration etc. Conceptual sizing and safety assessment Multi-disciplinary trade-off studies Lead and/or oversight of assigned strategic technology projects. Supervise engineering students’ internships How to thrive in this role? You have more than 10 years of experience in aerospace design; advanced knowledge in aircraft structures and structures integration. You have a good understanding of aircraft interiors, their layout and their interactions within the aircraft structure. You have a good understanding of the aircraft development and certification process. You are open-minded, curious, rigorous and methodical. You strive for harmonious cohesive teamwork and support knowledge sharing amongst team members. You have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You approach problem solving with a holistic view. You have strong communication skills and can easily tailor your communication to suit the audience. You have a strong knowledge and experience with CATIA V5. Knowledge and experience with Siemens NX/Designcenter is an asset. You possess a university degree in Engineering.
