BON Energy is seeking motivated and dependable individuals to join its Geothermal and Energy Retrofit Program in Brokenhead Ojibway Nation. Technicians will assist with geothermal installations, energy retrofit work, general construction activities, and other duties related to the program. This is a hands-on role in both indoor and outdoor construction environments. Applicants must be ready to perform physical work and commit to a regular full-time schedule. Minimum Requirements Hold a valid driver's license Consent to a criminal record check Be physically capable of lifting, carrying, digging, using tools, and standing for extended periods Be available to work eight-hour days, Monday to Friday, with overtime possible Be reliable, punctual, and committed to regular attendance Be willing to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Follow all workplace health and safety requirements Work effectively as part of a team and follow direction Be willing to learn skills related to geothermal systems, energy retrofits, construction, and building upgrades Be open to drug testing when required as a condition of employment or workplace safety Experience Experience in construction, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, excavation, geothermal, carpentry, or general labour is an asset. Training may be provided to the right candidates. BON Energy welcomes applicants who want to learn, build practical skills, and help improve energy efficiency and housing in the Brokenhead community.
