Optometrist – Kitchener-Waterloo, ON FYidoctors has an exciting opportunity for an Optometrist to join our Kitchener-Waterloo, ON location. This is a well-established clinic with a loyal patient base and a knowledgeable, passionate team that provides support across all areas of the clinic. This is an excellent opportunity for a new graduate and/or an Optometrist interested in establishing themselves at a clinic long term. Schedule * Tuesday: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM * Wednesday: 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM * Thursday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM * Saturday: 1–2 Saturdays per month Equipment Our clinic is equipped with the latest diagnostic technology, including: * Refractometer * Pachymeter * FDT * Humphrey Visual Field * OCT * Tonometer * Topographer We also provide a number of specialty services, including: * Pediatric eye exams * Emergency eye care services * Ocular disease co-management Location Kitchener is situated in the Grand River Valley, approximately 95 km west-southwest of Toronto. The city has a rich German heritage and is known for its abundant green spaces, with nearly 220 parks, including golf courses, nature preserves, and urban parks. Kitchener offers plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors throughout the year. Winter activities include the Christmas Fantasy light display in Victoria Park, outdoor skating, and tobogganing. The Optometrist will provide comprehensive eye care services, including pediatric exams and emergency care. They will also participate in the co-management of ocular diseases within a well-established clinic environment.

This position is suitable for a new graduate or an experienced Optometrist looking for a long-term role. Candidates must be prepared to work a set schedule including some Saturdays.
