Job details
About BookingHub BookingHub is a modern all-in-one booking and scheduling platform built for appointment-based businesses and their clients. The platform serves eight verticals: medical, fitness, spa and beauty, dining, education, auto, home services, and professional services. Businesses can establish a clean public booking page and private client links in minutes, without development resources, setup fees, or extended onboarding. The platform delivers real-time availability, instant confirmation, custom intake forms, automated reminders, a live cancellation waitlist, secure two-way messaging, role-based team access, and comprehensive client management with Google Account and Calendar synchronization. Businesses collect payments at the point of booking, deposited directly into their own accounts. The entire platform operates bilingually in English and French. BookingHub is built in Montreal and hosted in Canada. The platform is Law 25 compliant and fully encrypted, meeting the data protection standards required by the clinics, studios, and practices it serves. Clients maintain a single free account to manage appointments across every industry on the platform, with no subscription fees and no credit card required. Our Mission The booking software market has long been fragmented by industry. Platforms built for a single vertical are frequently adapted to serve others, resulting in software that fits no one particularly well and is often priced for enterprise scale rather than the independent operators who make up the majority of the market. BookingHub was founded on a different premise: a single platform, purpose-built across eight verticals, where a business can be operational within an afternoon and clients can complete a booking in under a minute. The objective is to eliminate the administrative friction that appointment-based businesses have accepted as unavoidable, including missed calls, manual scheduling, double bookings, and revenue lost to no-shows. The platform is live and processing real bookings for businesses across Canada today. Role Overview The Sales Development Representative owns the top of the sales funnel, identifying, qualifying, and nurturing prospective customers across multiple service industries. This position serves as the initial point of contact between BookingHub and the businesses it aims to serve, and plays a direct role in the company's growth trajectory. This is a fully remote contract position. Key Responsibilities Research and develop qualified target account lists across BookingHub's eight supported verticals Execute outbound calling, email, and follow-up sequences to generate and advance qualified leads Qualify inbound interest and route opportunities appropriately through the pipeline Schedule and coordinate product demonstrations with prospective clients Maintain accurate and disciplined CRM records, ensuring pipeline integrity and reporting accuracy Partner with sales and marketing to refine messaging, test outreach strategies, and improve conversion performance at each funnel stage Deliver structured market feedback, including common objections, feature requirements, and competitive intelligence, to inform product and positioning decisions Qualifications Demonstrated inside sales experience, with a track record of engaging prospective customers and generating interest in SaaS or technology solutions Proven lead generation and business development capability, including market research, opportunity identification, and pipeline construction Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate product value clearly across diverse operator profiles and industries Proficiency with CRM platforms, sales engagement tools, and standard productivity software Demonstrated success in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment managing multiple prospects and competing priorities Strong customer-focused orientation, active listening skills, and a professional, inclusive approach in all interactions Fluency in English required. French proficiency is a significant asset given BookingHub's bilingual market and customer base Prior experience in SaaS, booking or scheduling solutions, or adjacent technology products is an advantage Diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline preferred, or equivalent practical experience Candidate Profile Successful candidates in this role typically demonstrate: Confidence and professionalism in direct outbound conversations with business owners and decision-makers Strong organizational discipline, with CRM documentation that supports team-wide visibility Resilience and analytical thinking in response to objections and rejection Genuine interest in understanding customer operations and business challenges Motivation to contribute meaningfully at an early-stage, high-growth company Working Environment BookingHub operates as a remote-first organization with asynchronous collaboration and clear, direct communication standards. The company prioritizes rapid iteration, measurable outcomes, and close alignment between customer-facing roles and product development. Market feedback gathered by the sales team directly informs the product roadmap. Multiple platform capabilities currently in production originated from insights surfaced during customer conversations. Compensation and Terms Contract position, fully remote Compensation commensurate with experience, discussed during the interview process Flexible scheduling with reasonable overlap for customer-facing activities Application Process Apply through LinkedIn with a current resume. Candidates are encouraged to include a brief summary of relevant outbound sales experience and measurable results achieved. Learn more at bookinghub.ca.
