Key Responsibilities and Skills Coordinate high-volume, high-transactional workflow of our corporate compliance team, including Annual resolutions for British Columbia and Federal corporations British Columbia and cross-Canada registrations and annual filings Collaborate with key stakeholders to streamline and implement compliance processes and procedures Provide guidance, training and mentorship to paraprofessionals in relation to corporate compliance Assisting with various special projects related to compliance and corporate governance Perform billable corporate compliance work 50 - 75% of your time Key Competencies Paralegal Diploma and/or equivalent relevant work experience A minimum of 10 years’ experience in the area of corporate compliance work Experience with Corporate Database technology (cloud-based technology, an asset) Knowledge of iManage, Word, Excel and Outlook Strong organizational skills in planning and prioritizing workflow, multi-tasking and attention to details Ability to succeed in a multi-disciplinary team with a collaborative and strategic mindset Adaptable to variable priorities and deadlines, to best serve our clients’ business goals Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A team player with a strong work ethic and a desire for continuous improvement What does BLG have to offer you?
