Job Description Summary: Borealis Fuels & Logistics Ltd. is seeking a Class G1 or G2 gasfitter to expand its Thunder Bay and Northwestern Ontario service team. Borealis deems this position essential to our continued growth in Ontario. The gas fitter will develop his skills under our Service Area Manager. Duties & Responsibilities: Support Borealis’ vision of LPG service excellence in Ontario; Perform new tank installations and tank swap-outs; Design, build and service bulk storage facilities; Design, build and service industrial gas distribution systems; Install, repair, service, and replace propane gas appliances, regulators, gas meters, valves, burners, and vaporizers in residential, commercial, or industrial-related properties and areas; Work on liquid piping systems and install, repair and maintain vaporizers; Operate, maintain and train others to use a rail-to-truck LPG transloader; Permit gas installations in Ontario; Continue to develop knowledge of the CSA B149.2 code and apply the rules; Develop skills, gain hours of service and progress toward Class G1 gas fitting certification (if a G2 to start); Education/Experience: Licensed G1 or G2 Gasfitter in Ontario; Class A or D commercial driver's licence with Air Brake endorsement (Z) to be done if not acquired yet; Bulk handling, tank inspections, and bottle fill PTI recognized courses (Borealis will provide training if required); Transportation of Dangerous Goods training and certification. Position Requirements: Propane Liquid Endorsement (to be done if not acquired yet), Extensive knowledge of the propane and LPG industry, Extensive knowledge of gas-fired appliances, Proficient with computers and office software, Exceptional communication and time management skills, Multitasking and the ability to work with teams, Solid knowledge of the Canadian mining industry, Communication and self-organization skills, a hands-on mentality, Attention to detail and a self-starter, Ability to work away from home from time to time to execute large projects and/or service remote customer locations.

Requirements
