What you get: Total rewards package: In the US, BPM offers personalized benefit structures and financial compensation options that provide choice and flexibility. In Canada, we offer comprehensive benefits coverage for you and your dependents. Regardless of location, colleagues have access to flexible work arrangements and health and wellness programs. Well-being resources: interactive wellness platform and incentives, an employee assistance program and mental health resources, and Colleague Resource Groups (CRGs) that provide safe spaces for colleagues to share, be heard, feel valued and deepen connections. Balance & flexibility: 14 Firm Holidays including 2 floating days, Flex PTO, paid family leave, winter break, summer hours, and remote work options, so you can balance challenging yourself with taking care of yourself. Who is successful at BPM: · Caring people who put others first · Self-starters who embody the BPM entrepreneurial spirit · Authentic individuals with a diverse point of view · Lifelong learners with a drive to excel · Resilient people who rise to the occasion Position Summary Associations are a channel. This role signs up industry and professional associations as partners, then builds and runs the program that brings BPM's services to their members. It is a revenue seat, measured on pipeline sourced and work closed rather than on memberships held. The role is hands-on with a team behind it. Marketing, delivery, and our advisory practices support the program; you own the relationships, the program design, and the results. \n Responsibilities: What You'll Do * Sign up associations. Identify, prioritize, and close partnerships with associations whose membership matches our target industries. Make the case that their members get real value, negotiate the arrangement, and build the working relationship with their executives, boards, and committee chairs. * Build a repeatable program. Design one program model that works, then adapt it per association rather than starting from scratch each time. Educational series, webinars, assessments, briefings, and co-branded content, along with the events and sponsorships that carry them. You own the calendar, the sponsorship commitments, and the return on that spend. Verticalized by industry, because an association of manufacturers needs a different program than one serving nonprofits or professional services firms. * Develop content, with support behind you. You shape the substance and the sequencing. Marketing and design handle production, and subject matter experts across the firm supply the technical depth. * Educate our teams. Keep business development, delivery, and the practices current on which associations we are in, what is being offered, and how to work the conversations the program generates. * Sell. Convert member engagement into qualified opportunities and closed work. Track pipeline by association, know which partnerships are producing, and renegotiate or exit the ones that are not. * Coordinate across the firm. Work with marketing, alliances, business development, and the advisory groups so the program reinforces the firm's broader go-to-market rather than running beside it. Requirements Who This Is For * 5+ years in channel or alliance development, partnerships, association and membership programs, or business development within professional services or enterprise technology. * A record of sourcing real revenue through relationships and programs, with the numbers to show for it. Direct selling experience is a strong plus, particularly technology or SaaS sales. * Knowledgeable across enterprise technologies such as ERP, CRM, HCM, BI, and AI. Enough fluency to hold a credible conversation with an association's executives and their members about what we do and why it matters. * Industry perspective. You understand how a given sector operates and can shape a program around the problems its members actually have. * A program builder. Comfortable carrying a partnership from first conversation to signed agreement to producing pipeline, and disciplined enough to build something reusable rather than bespoke every time. * Strong presence with executives and boards, and you write and present well. Education Education and Credentials * Bachelors degree in business, marketing, information technology, accounting, or a related field is preferred. * Association management, alliance, or CRM certifications are a plus. Success Metrics How Success Is Measured and Paid This role combines MBO and revenue attributable to the associations in your portfolio. The MBO covers the build: associations signed, and a repeatable program model that can be tuned per partner rather than reconstructed each time. The revenue component follows the channel, so the program you design pays you back as it produces. \n $125,000 - $150,000 a year $125,000 per year to $150,000 per year The salary range provided is intended for candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area who meet the minimum requirements of the position. Candidates who do not reside in the San Francisco Bay Area, do not meet the minimum requirements, or exceed the requirements are encouraged to apply and a recruiter will provide you with a range specific to your location and qualifications. In accordance with Ontario’s pay transparency legislation, the posted compensation range, if applicable, will reflect the scope and responsibilities associated with the role. Positions supporting clients across multiple jurisdictions involve additional regulatory considerations, cross-border coordination, and broader compliance requirements compared to roles focused on a single local market. Hours of work and travel expectations may vary based on role scope and are considered in determining compensation. These factors, along with credential requirements and market benchmarks, are incorporated into compensation ranges to ensure alignment with industry standards and the specialized expertise required. Compensation includes base salary and any non-discretionary bonuses or commissions. If the top of the compensation range exceeds $200,000 annually, specific details will be provided during the recruitment process instead of being posted, in compliance with legislation.
