Job summary

BPT Staffing is hiring a contract Immigration Case Manager for a client who needs someone who can pick up L-1 files and run with them. This is a doing role, not an oversight role. You will be drafting. What you'll be doing Preparing L-1A and L-1B petitions end to end, including drafting the support letters yourself Building the specialized knowledge and managerial capacity arguments, and pulling the evidence that backs them Preparing Forms I-129 and I-129S, for both individual petitions and blanket L filings Running document collection with beneficiaries, HR contacts and company stakeholders Drafting RFE responses and flagging risk on files before they go out Keeping case status, deadlines and records current in the client's case management system Working under the supervision of US-licensed immigration counsel What you need Three or more years of hands-on US business immigration experience, with L-1 as a core part of your day to day You have drafted support letters yourself. Assembling exhibits and chasing documents is part of the job, but it is not the whole job here. Comfortable with both individual and blanket L filings Working knowledge of a case management platform (INSZoom, LawLogix Edge, Docketwise, Tracker, Mitratech, or similar) Located in Canada and legally authorized to work in Canada Available to start within roughly two weeks Nice to have New office L-1A petitions Exposure to H-1B, TN, O-1 or PERM High-volume environment background: IT services, Big 4 global mobility, a corporate in-house mobility team, or a US business immigration firm The details Contract, approximately two months to start, with a strong likelihood of extension 100% remote, anywhere in Canada
