BrainRidge Consulting is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate professional to fill the role of Senior Cloud Architect. This position requires hands-on experience across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud, with a strong infrastructure background. You will help design and deliver cloud solutions for our clients in the financial services industry. As the Senior Cloud Architect, you will work on both strategy and delivery. You will help define how cloud environments are governed, operated and deployed, and you will stay hands-on in building the solutions. You will be comfortable advising senior leadership as well as working closely with engineering, operations and security teams. We are looking for a self-starter who handles multiple priorities well and enjoys promoting a DevOps mindset in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Design cloud governance frameworks, standards and guardrails across multi-cloud environments. Define operational best practices for monitoring, patching, availability and resilience. Advise on cloud security, compliance and cost management. Design and build CI/CD pipelines and reusable infrastructure and deployment patterns. Partner with application, infrastructure and security teams to drive adoption of cloud standards. Present recommendations and progress to senior leadership and key stakeholders. Create and maintain clear documentation, playbooks and procedures. Required Core Skills: 10+ years in infrastructure and cloud, with strong hands-on experience across AWS, Azure and GCP. Deep infrastructure knowledge, including networking, identity and access, compute and storage. Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar) and scripting. Strong CI/CD and DevOps experience with modern tooling. Solid understanding of cloud governance, security, compliance and cost optimization. Experience in regulated industries, ideally financial services. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical topics to senior leadership. Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. Cloud architect certifications are an asset.

Candidates should understand governance, security, compliance, and cost optimization, ideally in financial services, and be able to balance strategic advice with hands-on delivery; cloud architecture certifications are an asset.
