In-Store Product Sampler / Brand Ambassador (Event Activation Specialist) Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and outgoing Brand Ambassador to support an exciting and engaging Big box re-opening event. This event is designed to thank big box shoppers for their loyalty during the store's construction period. Job Type: Part-time, Contract (for timeline mentioned) Location: Walmart Supercenter #3128 133 Hwy # 11, Temiskaming Shores, ON P0J 1P0 Date: Saturday, October 24th from 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM - Activation: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM (2-hour setup + 1-hour teardown) Training: Tuesday October 20th 2026, Time: Virtual Training at 1pm EDT Key Responsibilities: Facilitate a PLINKO board game, engaging with customers while they play. Distribute prizes and create a fun, welcoming environment for attendees. Kit prizes prior to the event, following provided guidelines. Manage the activation setup and cleanup process independently. Ensure smooth and engaging interactions with shoppers to enhance their experience. Use a company card to activate and purchase necessary items for the event Product Demonstrations: Organize and conduct in-store sampling events highlighting featured products. Customer Engagement: Actively engage with customers, providing product information and encouraging purchases. Product Knowledge: Understand the brands and products to communicate their benefits effectively. Requirements: Access to a vehicle is an asset but not mandatory Strong communication skills and an outgoing personality. Ability to confidently engage with diverse groups of people. Quick thinking and problem-solving skills. Reliable and able to manage responsibilities independently. Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs for setup and cleanup duties.
