Job summary

Brand Vision is a brand development, website design, and marketing agency with teams in Toronto and Chicago, building for companies across the US and Canada. We're hiring a Junior UI/UX Designer to work alongside our senior team on projects for Organizations like Safeway, McGill University, TDSB, ArcelorMittal and many more. You won't be handed busywork or filler. From day one, you'll help shape brand identities and websites that companies are betting real budgets on, learning directly from designers who've been doing this at a high level for years. The work you'll be part of: Full brand identities and website designs for established companies, not templates and throwaway landing pages High-stakes redesigns where the quality of your work directly affects how a real business is seen Projects that span the whole craft, from brand and UI through to how a site converts and ranks A close-up seat next to experienced designers Who we're looking for: We want designers who want to be the best, not designers looking for a comfortable seat. The person we hire is genuinely enthusiastic about the craft, obsesses over the details, and treats every project as a chance to prove they belong alongside people better than them. You should be ambitious, coachable, and a little relentless about the quality of your own work. If you're content being average, this isn't the role. If you want to be exceptional and you're willing to put in the work for it, keep reading. What you'll do: Design responsive websites and interfaces in Figma, from wireframes to high-fidelity, developer-ready files Turn brand direction into interfaces that look sharp and actually convert Learn to make UX decisions grounded in the user and the goal, not just taste Work closely with our senior designers, developers, and SEO team so the final product looks good, ranks, and performs Iterate based on feedback, data, and what real users actually do What we're looking for: 1 to 3 years of professional experience, or a strong body of work if you're just starting out A portfolio that shows genuine taste and range Solid Figma skills and a working understanding of responsive, component-based design A real interest in UX, not just visuals, and the ability to talk through the choices you made The ambition to become an exceptional designer, and the humility to learn from those who already are Nice to have: Any agency experience, or juggling more than one project at a time Awareness of how design decisions affect SEO and site performance A sense of how your designs get built (HTML/CSS familiarity, Webflow, or similar) Motion, prototyping, or light brand design chops The Position is in-person in our Toronto office.
