What You Will Be Responsible For Efficiently and effectively evaluate the working condition of, diagnose, assemble/disassemble, order parts for, and repair heavy duty equipment components Use secondary materials and equipment safely and efficiently Use related instruments, hand and power tools, secondary equipment, and computer systems Continually assess service task hazards and ensure work is performed safely, and to accepted standards Use computer applications and information systems (i.e. John Deere Service Advisor) to document maintenance, inspection, and diagnosis Use parts catalogues to locate parts, and order parts from parts personnel Must possess excellent attention to detail Forklift experience and heavy-duty parts handling an asset What We Look For Certified Journeyperson in the heavy-duty equipment technician trade or equivalent designated trade preferred Previous mechanical experience in a heavy equipment environment considered an asset Must be committed to customer service and service excellence Must have the ability to communicate and work effectively with customers, the service team, and branch personnel Outstanding knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Proven computer and technical aptitude and knowledge for diagnostics and calibration work. Demonstrated diagnostic skills to understand mechanical and technical equipment repair needs. Strong time-management skills to perform effectively. Strong communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues. A commitment to high-quality customer service. Requirements

A certified Journeyperson in heavy-duty equipment technician trade or equivalent is preferred. Candidates must have strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
