Plasma Bevel Cutting Machine Operator

Brannon Steel is looking for an experienced CNC Plasma Blevel Cutting Machine Operator to join the team at its Brampton manufacturing location on the afternoon shift. Start from $27.19 per hour and up depending on experience PLUS up to $2 per hour in afternoon shift premiums. Shift: Monday - Friday, 3PM - 11PM. (afternoon shift). Setup, operate, and troubleshoot one or more 2-axis CNC plasma bevel cutting machines. Move large steel parts and plate using overhead crane with clamps, magnets, vacuum lifters and other attachments. Read part drawings and production documents. Check finished parts against specifications. Perform and document quality inspections. Document work completed. Experience operating 2-axis or 3-axis CNC plasma cutting machines. Experience operating overhead cranes, preferably with valid record of training. Perform manual material handling up to 23 kgs (50 lbs). Perform standing and repetitive work including bending, twisting, lifting, and stair climbing. Read, write, and speak English at a conversational level. Perform basic math. Shift premiums up to $4 per hour on nights and up to $2 per hour on afternoons. Overtime after 40 hours per week. Candidates must have experience operating CNC plasma cutting machines and overhead cranes. The role requires the ability to perform manual labor, including lifting up to 23 kgs, and maintaining conversational English proficiency.
