To learn more, please visit www.bray.com. Position Overview The Technical Inside Sales Manager is the main point of contact for customer support within the inside sales department. This role supervises the inside sales and customer service teams for the Canadian market. It requires strong team management skills, customer relations, and technical understanding of industrial products (valves, flow controls, etc.) Main Roles and Responsibilities: Management & Leadership Supervise inside sales and customer service teams Hire, train, evaluate, and coach staff Conduct performance reviews (annual reviews, KPIs, SQDC) Organize daily and weekly meetings to track priorities Lead by example by stepping in to support quoting and order entry during peak periods and to model best practices for speed, accuracy, and customer responsiveness Customer Service Act as the primary point of contact for customers in Canada Respond to RFQs and pricing requests Validate technical information and ensure accurate, timely quotations Manage complaints, returns, and credits efficiently Perform hands-on order entry and prepare quotations as needed, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely customer follow-up Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty Coordination & Communication Collaborate with internal teams (sales, engineering, operations, production, administration) Distribute and prioritize requests based on complexity: Easy (Standard / MRO) Medium (Technical) Complex (Project management) Participate in the implementation and monitoring of CRM campaigns and marketing initiatives Sales & Business Development Support the external sales team in developing new markets and opportunities Contribute to the development of national sales strategies Negotiate and assist with closing sales for major accounts Technical Support Provide technical support for products (valves, actuators, control systems) Ensure pricing lists and technical documentation are current and translated Administration & Reporting Produce and analyze performance indicators (KPIs, sales, margins, conversion rates) Manage documentation and databases (orders, quotations, deliveries) Support compliance with health and safety, quality, and environmental procedures Requirements & Qualifications: 3–5 years people management; 10+ years industrial customer service Bilingual English and French Experience in commercial/industrial sales (valves, piping, HVAC an asset) College diploma or equivalent experience (bachelor’s preferred) Strong technical and mechanical aptitude; able to interpret specifications Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills Highly organized and detail‑oriented Proficient in MS Office; CRM/ERP experience an asset Bray Canada is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering an inclusive, accessible workplace.
