We are looking for motivated Control Technicians to join our team and play a key role in keeping our refinery operations safe, efficient, and reliable. What You’ll Do: * Operate, monitor, and maintain control instruments and machinery to ensure peak performance. * Respond to emergencies with confidence, following established protocols and procedures. * Collaborate and mentor outside operators, fostering a positive and professional team environment. * Meet production start-up schedules and process specification changes safely and efficiently. * Conduct inspections of critical process points, identifying and resolving anomalies quickly. * Perform troubleshooting, fieldwork, and report issues to shift managers and maintenance engineers. * Record and maintain operational data, test results, and other administrative tasks. * Ensure products meet quality specifications and regulatory standards. * Actively participate in health, safety, and environmental programs, promoting a culture of safety. * Support maintenance activities and take part in continuous learning and training programs. * Take on additional duties that support team and operational success. What We’re Looking For: * 3rd Class Power Engineering Certificate is an asset; 4th Class considered. * Minimum 2 years of industrial experience. * Strong understanding of advanced control systems; ABB DCS experience is an asset. * Experience in hydrogen and steam production is a plus. * Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot mechanical and chemical processes. * Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor and train others. * Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and excellence. * Motivated, reliable, and professional with proven leadership and problem-solving skills. * Exemplary record in health, safety, and environmental practices. * Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems. * Knowledge of refinery or industrial operations. Physical Requirements: * Regular lifting/moving up to 25 lbs; occasional lifting/moving >50 lbs. * Pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs. * Frequent bending, stretching, twisting, standing, walking, and climbing. * Use of hand tools requiring precision and balance; work on ladders/scaffolding. * Exposure to loud noises and potential environmental hazards.
