Position Type: Seasonal Contract, Part-Time & Full-Time Positions Available Hours of Work: Variable - Monday through Sunday, days and evenings (closed Tuesdays) – Holidays, as required Location: Orono, Ontario Reporting to: Lift Staff Manager and Lift Staff Supervisors Start Date: December 2026 (Training may begin November 2026) At Brimacombe ski area we don’t just offer skiing and snowboarding, we offer a place for all ages to get outside, enjoy the fresh air and create memorable family experiences! We are currently seeking outgoing, customer-focused team members to help us turn everyday visits into wonderful winter memories. As part of our Lift Operations team, you will play an important role in creating unforgettable customer experiences, as well as defining the culture of our team. Key Responsibilities: Being the smiling face at the top of the lift, ready to support our guests on their way to a great run Maintaining safe, efficient operation and control over the lift including accurately completing all required safety checks, logs and documentation Managing lift lines, maze areas and checking tickets/passes, when required Assessing guests needs and lift requirements in a safe and efficient manner Assisting guests in safe and proper riding and unloading of lifts Being a lean, mean snow shoveling machine, because snow happens here...a lot! Delivering support when needed to prevent/resolve customer issues Ready to take on any challenge or help other team members when needed Qualifications: 18 years of age or older Professional, energetic and dependable Customer satisfaction-oriented Must be able to reason and react with quick and thoughtful judgement while remaining calm under pressure Strong communication skills Attention to detail Skiing/Snowboarding experience is an asset, but not required Familiarity with mechanical components considered an asset To Apply: Please complete an electronic application by clicking the APPLY button associated with this posting. Requirements
Candidates must be at least 18 years old and possess strong communication and customer service skills. While skiing or snowboarding experience and mechanical familiarity are considered assets, they are not strictly required.
