Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities This position processes basic insurance transaction and auto policies. Processes auto and basic insurance transactions under the supervision of a more senior licensed broker. Identifies client needs and provides information on basic insurance products such as risk coverage, benefits and other policy features best suited to meet the client's needs; works with clients to manage and reduce their risk. Recommends and implements a client’s insurance coverage, premiums and collects payment; promotes Brio/Interlake Insurance products and services. Support the achievement of department and organizational goals as well as actively participates in regular staff meetings. Maintain open communication and cooperation with other staff to ensure a friendly and efficient work environment. Maintain thorough knowledge of and adhere to organizational policies and procedures on risk management, confidentiality, security and fraud prevention. This list is not inclusive and other tasks and/or responsibilities may be assigned by your supervisor. Essential Qualifications Level 1 or working towards Level 1 Brokers license Demonstrated desire to serve others in a friendly and professional manner Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written Attention to detail with high degree of accuracy Ability to work in fast-paced environment and perform well under pressure Ability to prioritize using sound judgment to make timely and effective decisions Knowledge of Brio Insurance products and services Ability to follow standardized policies and procedures Knowledge of risk management within the insurance industry Proficient computer skills Employee Sub-Type Regular If you are interested in this position, apply today!
