Role Overview Reporting to the Manager, Distribution Center, the Distribution Center Associate (DCA) supports all core warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory control, picking, packing, shipping, and wrapping. This hands-on role involves physical work, data entry in the WMS, and both manual and equipment-assisted unloading. The DCA works independently on assigned tasks while rotating across functions to build expertise, ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient operations while contributing to a positive team culture and continuous improvement. Duties & Responsibilities Inbound Receive, put away and replenish merchandise physically and record in the WMS system. Offloading floor-loaded containers by hand (also known as hand bombing, de-stuffing; lumping containers) and confirm receipt in our Warehouse Management System (BY). Ensure inventory integrity is not affected. Promote and comply to Health and Safety procedures and guidelines of the Distribution Center. Work collaboratively with others to ensure products are secured properly and put away per procedures while maintaining accuracy. Any other work, duties, projects, or ad hoc requests as assigned Outbound: Prepare, pick, and ship orders and confirm all orders in our Inventory Management system (Blue Yonder). Understand and execute against all standards and best practices/technical concepts in the Distribution Center. Maintain compliance with Health and Safety procedures and guidelines of the Distribution Center. Work collaboratively with others to ensure orders are delivered on time. Actively participate in the continuous improvement process. Any other work, duties, projects, or ad hoc requests as assigned. Their collaborative team spirit Their clear communication skills Commitment to quality work and compliance Experience & Qualifications Requirements: High School leaving certificate or equivalent experience Minimum 1year minimum experience in a warehouse 1 year experience operating Forklifts (Stand Up Reach, Order Picker an asset) Ability to lift to 50 pounds Ability to bend Read, count and basic writing skills Ability to verbally communicate clearly in English and/or French Ability to adapt to change, learn new procedures and techniques and manage stress Committed team builder and takes pride in the success of the operations Must work well with others (internal and external customers) and evolve in a culture of continuous learning, and development Motivated individual, resourceful and detailed-oriented Alert with good listening and communications skills Computer skills, basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and/or experience with WMS systems (Blue Yonder) Takes pride and accountability seriously Additional Details for This Role This is a full-time, on-site position with an evening shift schedule from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM. #LI-Onsite Our Benefits We believe benefits should empower you to thrive at work and beyond.
