City : Lethbridge State : Alberta (CA-AB) Country : Canada (CA) Requisition Number : 47560 A Day in the Life: As a Seasonal Operations Worker, you play an important role in supporting our grain operations by ensuring producer samples are collected and delivered safely and efficiently. This position provides an opportunity to work directly with customers and contribute to the smooth flow of operations during key seasonal periods. Your commitment to safety, reliability, and customer service helps support strong relationships with producers and the success of our business. Position Details: This is a part‑time, on‑call position. Scheduling is based on operational needs. Candidates must be available to work rotating shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends. Mandatory overtime, extended shifts (up to 16 hours), and short‑notice schedule changes may be required What You'll Be Doing: Operate company equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to all company policies and procedures. Pick up grain samples from producers and transport them back to the facility for analysis and processing. Maintain a strong focus on safety while working independently and traveling throughout the assigned territory. Build positive relationships with producers through professional and courteous interactions. Ensure samples are handled and delivered accurately and in a timely manner. Support facility operations and seasonal activities as needed. Follow all workplace health, safety, and environmental requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. Skills/Experience Requirements: High school diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent. Previous grain industry experience is considered an asset. Valid Class 5 driver's license required. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Strong commitment to workplace health and safety practices. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong communication and customer service skills. Must be comfortable working outdoors and traveling within the designated area as required. Ability to perform physical work, including lifting and handling samples safely.
