Class 1 Driver

The Class 1 Driver delivers products safely and professionally to customer locations while upholding Bunzl’s high service standards. Responsibilities * Operate company vehicles safely and in compliance with all transportation regulations. Deliver customer orders accurately and on schedule. * Meet Bunzl Standard KPI Goals. * Load and unload products manually or using pallet jacks and other equipment. * Communicate with Manager/Customers regarding deliveries and returns. * Complete daily logs and comply with provincial transportation regulations. * Conduct pre and post‑trip inspections. * Maintain a clean and safe work environment. * Perform additional duties as required. Requirements * Valid Class 1 license and clean driver’s abstract. * High school diploma or equivalent. * Electronic Logging Device (ELD) experience. * Minimum three years of commercial driving experience or accredited training. * Knowledge of provincial transportation regulations. * Ability to read and interpret manifests and invoices. * Strong organization and communication skills. * Ability to work safely in accordance with company safety policies and applicable occupational health and safety legislation. * Customer‑service oriented and able to work independently or as part of a team. * Ability to lift and move products as required. The Class 1 Driver is responsible for safely operating company vehicles to deliver customer orders accurately and on schedule. They must also perform manual loading and unloading of products while maintaining compliance with transportation regulations and company safety standards.

Candidates must possess a valid Class 1 license, a clean driver's abstract, and at least three years of commercial driving experience. Proficiency with Electronic Logging Devices and the ability to lift and move products are also required.
