Job summary
Job Title: Senior Business Analyst – Core Payments Banking Location: Toronto, Canada – Hybrid Experience: 12+ Years Relevant Experience: 10+ Years in Core Payments Banking Domain: BFSI / Banking Mandatory: Strong Senior Business Analyst experience in Core Payments Banking within US or Canadian banking systems. Key Requirements: • 12+ years of Business Analysis experience with 10+ years in Core Payments Banking. • Strong experience in US/Canadian Banking and Payments systems. • Hands-on experience with payment modernization and real-time payment platforms: RTP, FedNow, RTR, Lynx, ACH, EFT, Interac. • Strong knowledge of ISO 20022, payment lifecycle, settlement, reconciliation, exceptions, returns, and investigations. • Experience creating BRD, FRD, process flows, data mapping, user stories, and acceptance criteria. • Strong experience with Agile/Scrum, Jira, BDD/Gherkin, workshops, and stakeholder management. • Knowledge of Payments Canada, FINTRAC, OSFI, AML, KYC, Sanctions, Fraud, and Compliance requirements. • Experience working with APIs, payment hubs, core banking systems, and third-party integrations. • Strong experience supporting SIT, UAT, production readiness, go-live, and payment transformation programs.
